Fall and spring training for new financial aid officers is proudly offered by the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA). This program was specifically designed for aid personnel with experience in financial aid administration of three years or less. In this training, you will learn about many timely topics like federal and state rules, regulations and methods, awards and packaging, FAFSA, verification, and much more.

Financial Aid Officer training is offered in two convenient locations across the state. Training takes place in Raleigh at CFI every October and March. All sessions are a full day from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Learn more about this exciting opportunity by emailing Kevin Lineberry at [email protected].

Educational Opportunity Programs

The Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACRAO) offers educational opportunity programs across the state each fall. Students (and their parents) can take the opportunity to browse these local college fairs and speak to college admission representatives. CFI representatives will also be available, so be sure to encourage your students to discuss financial aid information with them.

Ex$el Program

Through a collaboration with colleges and universities nationwide, CFI offers this service to help students learn about managing money and successfully repaying student loans. Working on behalf of your school, this program provides dynamic financial education information and maintains consistent regular contact with students and borrowers.
