Few American Parents are Saving for College (WGHP – Winston Salem)

Fewer American parents with children under age 18 are saving for college this year — down more than 50% from the previous year. Takeila Hall, a College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) Regional Rep, talks about financial benefits and options with the NC 529 Plan. She also explained the advantages of an NC 529 account over a regular savings account.
