Your Countdown to College begins here: College Application Week.

Many North Carolina colleges and universities will waive their application fees during College Application Week, October 20 (7:30 a.m. ET) – 26 (5:00 p.m.), 2025. Review the list of colleges waiving fees below and remember to use the Application Hub to submit your applications.

Important Notes

To take advantage of waived fees during College Application Week, you must apply through CFNC.

Keep in mind that other colleges and universities may accept special fee waivers such as ACT, SAT or NACAC. Students should check with each institution for more information.

How to Participate in College Application Week

Step 1: Click to expand the list(s) below and note which colleges are waiving application fees for your student type (e.g. first-year, transfer, readmission).

Step 2: Create or update your CFNC account.

Step 3: Use the CFNC college search function to learn more about these colleges and universities, and save your top choices to My Dashboard .

Step 4: When College Application Week opens on Oct. 20 at 7:30 a.m. ET, log into your CFNC.org account to apply. REMEMBER, to take advantage of waived fees during College Application Week, you must apply through CFNC
