Countdown to College is a year-long initiative to increase the number of students pursuing post-secondary education by assisting high school seniors with the college admissions process (residency, financial aid, and applications).

This includes College Application Week, October 20-26, 2025, when many NC colleges and universities waive application fees for students applying to college through CFNC.org.
