Seeks to provide current income, investing 75% of its assets into three Vanguard investment-grade bond funds (34.5% to the Vanguard Total Bond Market II Index Fund, 22.5% to the Vanguard Total International Bond Index Fund, and 18% to the Vanguard Short-Term Inflation-Protected Securities Index Fund), and 25% of assets to short-term investments (the Vanguard Short-Term Reserves Account).
