May 29 is National 5/29 Day — to encourage families to contribute to a tax-advantaged 529 savings plan to prepare for their children’s futures.

How the Any Age, Any Stage Sweepstakes works:
- Event runs from May 1, 2024, until May 31, 2024.
- One winner will be randomly chosen to receive a $1,529 contribution to their NC 529 Account.
- Funds can be used for eligible education expenses, including K-12 tuition, college expenses, student loan payments, and more!
- Drawing is open to all current and new NC 529 Account holders.
- To enter the contest, participants must register.
- Two (2) entries for activating an NC 529 Account gifting URL.
- One (1) entry for each contribution made to an existing NC 529 Account. • Two (2) entries for the first contribution made to a new NC 529 Account.
- Two (2) entries for setting up a new recurring contribution by automatic draft (ACH) or payroll deduction.
- Two (2) entries for increasing a current recurring contribution by at least $25.00 per account.
- One (1) entry for updating or adding a successor participant.
