What types of colleges and/or which states will accept this scholarship money?

Funds from this easy scholarship, the NC Assist $1,000 No Essay Scholarship, may be used by at virtually any college or university, so long as it is considered a Federal Student Aid eligible Title IV institution.

Is there a grade level or student age requirement?

You are eligible to enter as long as you are either:

(a) a resident of North Carolina who is a student, or a parent of a student, who will attend a college or university within or outside North Carolina within 12 months of the Giveaway entry, or

(b) a resident of another state who is a student, or parent of a student, who will attend a college or university in North Carolina within 12 months of the Giveaway entry;

How are you selecting the award winner?

Winners are selected by random drawing from the new entries submitted each month.

Do I need to reapply each month if I don't win the first time I apply?

Yes. You are welcome to enter every month, but you need to come back each time to re-enter.
