PLUS Loans are not based on financial need. To be eligible
for the loan, parents must not have an "adverse" credit
history as defined by federal regulations. For each child enrolled
in school, parents may borrow up to the full cost of attendance each
year minus any other financial aid that the student receives.
You may submit your Parent PLUS Loan application online, or,
download and print an application and send it to CFI.

Pre-screening Option

download the Parent PLUS Loan pre-screening form (Federal
Parent PLUS Loan Request form) or request it online.
Pre-screening for the Federal Parent PLUS Loan will include a
formal credit check, which will affect your overall credit
rating. If you are confident of your credit history, we
recommend that you proceed directly to the PLUS Application.
