Want to Learn and Share Ideas on Default Management?

Without leaving your office, you can learn and discuss ways to improve your school's default aversion strategies. The U.S. Department of Education strongly recommends that schools implement a default prevention and management plan. Beginning with FY2009, the Cohort Default Rate (CDR) formula will include students who default by the end of the second fiscal year after entering repayment. As a result, most schools will see an increase in their CDR. Borrowers who enter repayment this fiscal year (10/1/2008 to 9/30/2009) who default on or after 12/30/2011 will be included in the new, longer cohort default rate. Now's the time to make sure your default prevention and management plan is solid. Even if your current cohort default rate is low, participating in this webinar can help you implement strategies to increase your graduation rate and reduce the number of defaults. The webinar will be a great time to share what's working and what's not .
