Services

College Foundation can help you provide college financial planning services to your students.

We provide financial aid workshops, educational opportunity programs, and we can help you offer additional career guidance to your students by being part of the North Carolina Career Information Consortium.

Financial Aid Workshops

Program Information staff members at CFI are eager to help present information about CFI's programs - the North Carolina student loan program and the North Carolina Student Incentive Grant - at financial aid workshops held at high schools across the state. A majority of schools hold these workshops in the winter, to prepare students and parents for completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in a timely manner. Contact us if you'd like to request our participation anytime. We also will be glad to provide program materials to use at your school's workshop upon request.

Our area representatives or office staff are happy to meet with college FAAs or high school counselors to review our processing, provide information for students, and join you in any presentations you would find helpful, such as entrance or exit counseling.

Educational Opportunity Programs

Look for our CFI representatives at the fall Educational Opportunity (Ed-Op) Programs conducted by the Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACRAO). While your students review and speak with college admissions representatives, suggest they (and their parents) take the opportunity to collect information on student financial aid by talking with our staff.
