An eStudentLoan Service for CFI Users

College Foundation recognizes the importance of finding innovative ways to deliver information. We have been added to the eStudentLoan database to take advantage of this medium and to partner with North Carolina colleges to help them turn this informational site into something even more helpful for students seeking financial aid. The eStudentLoan Website provides information about the student loan programs of lenders throughout the nation. It offers a free, real-time student loan comparison tool called the LoanFinder. Students and parents can use this tool to find and compare lenders who have loans tailored to their specific needs. After creating a logon name and password, users complete a brief questionnaire about what type of loan program they're interested in, how much money they want to borrow, etc. Once the questionnaire is completed, the LoanFinder displays information for up to twelve lenders whose programs match the specified criteria. The lenders are listed in chart format according to which one best meets the user's needs. The data is broken down to show loan amount, total cost, average payment amount during repayment, average interest to be paid during school, fees, interest rate, term, and interest rate type. Financial Aid Administrators can take advantage of an eStudentLoan service called FA Office Builder (FAOB).
