Description

Funding is no longer provided through the Teacher Assistant Scholarship-Loan (TASL) program for teaching assistants. If you are a previous recipient of TASL funding and you have questions regarding repayment services, please contact NCSEAA directly at (800) 700-1775, select option "1" or in the Research Triangle Park area at (919) 549-8614, select option "1".

Full-time teacher assistants seeking licensure to teach who attend either community colleges or four-year colleges may be eligible for funding through the Teacher Assistant Scholarship Fund (TASF) program. TASF program details are available at CFNC.org/TASF.

The Teacher Assistant Scholarship Fund (TASF) provides funding to full-time teacher assistants pursuing initial licensure through a baccalaureate program at a NC college or university with an approved teacher education program or enrolled in a North Carolina community college transfer program leading to teacher certification at a qualifying four-year campus. Students already holding baccalaureate degrees seeking initial licensure are eligible to apply.
