| Description | |
| The Certain Private Education Institutions Grant program provides funding for
North Carolina residents who attend Roanoke Bible College in Elizabeth City
and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The program is administered by
the State Education Assistance Authority. |

| The maximum amount of the CPEI Grant payable to each student who qualifies for the grant for any academic year is determined by the North Carolina General Assembly. For the 2010-11 year, the amount is $1,850 for full time enrollment and prorated for part-time enrollment. In the event there are insufficient funds to provide the maximum state grant to each student who qualifies for the grant, each student shall receive a prorated share of the available funds. The grant will be reduced by 25% if the qualified student has completed more than 140 hours of instruction. |
