| Description | |
| The Golden LEAF Scholarship for independent college and university students is funded through a grant from the Golden LEAF Foundation. This scholarship is for students attending the member institutions of North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities. The grant provides scholarship funding for two students per class for two semesters at each of the 36 independent colleges and universities for the 2010-2011 academic year. If an institution is unable to identify two eligible students in any class, then a one-time scholarship may be awarded to a student in another class. If an institution is unable to identify eight eligible recipients, unused funds will be redistributed by NCICU as one-time awards to students at other member institutions through a lottery or other process approved by Golden LEAF. |
